About
Tignes chalet maximises the steep topography of it's hillside location to exploit the stunning views of the valley it is situated in. Use of stone and timber cladding grounds the building within it's context, creating a dialogue between the chalet and local area.
The material choices help blend the contemporary nature of the design with the typical vernacular architecture of the local area - A modern twist on the classic Chalet. Large glass panes on the first floor provides wide ranging views of snowy landscape.
